Amazon Web Services experienced Internet connectivity problems on the morning of December 15, 2021, that impacted the availability of Cloud services in one of the regions ("US-WEST-2") used by our customers. While AWS region outages are uncommon (this was the first major outage in this region within the past 7 years), they tend to impact a large number of systems within AWS, which in turn affect the responsiveness and/or availability of customer applications. Some of our customers deploy their applications to more than one AWS region to be able to mitigate this scenario. Please create a help desk ticket if you'd like additional information.
